Those who need loved
must first learn how to give
when surplus is depleted.
That last bit of fruit
carved from their heart
& served in the name
of caring for others
even if they never choose
in return to do the same.
No Birds Sing Now (TH)
No birds sing now in this landscape void of life, of love, of light. Nests dismantled, the tabernacle destroyed. Every voice lifted into one higher being straight from the page to the hand that wrote the book.
