The Heerdink-Stepek Cycle

Pedestrians choose not to extend a hand not due to lack of empathy but they think help is on the way, & this is why there remains a plethora of lost hope wandering the busy streets with empty bowls & hearts.

Few take the right path, too many uncomfortable moments They can't bear the wailing that such effort produces. They prefer the house where sorrow dwells.

Neighbors take the long path to detour an uncomfortable moment not hearing the wailing permeating from ajar exits of a house where sorrow dwells.

Dream off-light that we are all failing I like licorice with melting raspberry strings not hearing the wailing of my father’s wounds.  

Dream of flight & why we are all falling like Icarus with melting wax wings not heeding the warning in our father’s words.

we can't fly but our minds can scale the limits of our humanity then fly beyond them everything is but a dream but dream gently because you tread on my wings

  We’re born the size of our creator’s hands not knowing the limit of our scale & how much we’ll outlive.

I exhale the universe and it is grateful to be born to be something so vast yet comprised of things so infinitesmally small.
